The restaurant is rather cozy and neat. I tried the sushi set $388 here, it is quite good. The avocado salad is very fresh and light. The steamed egg is very smooth and with strong black truffle taste, yummy! The 9 pieces of sushi are mainly the white fish, in general it is quite fresh and delicious. The Hokkaido sea urchin is creamy and tasty too. The coffee is hot and mild, served with hot milk. Overall we had a good time.
Great experience in this restaurant, foods are fresh and well prepared. Feel the team works here. Excellent services as well.
A pleasant 10 or 11-piece sushi set lunch experience. Food/ingredients: 3.5/5 Service: 4.5/5 thank you Jessie, Chef Gary and Ho and team for some good explanations and hospitality. Environment/Ambience: 3.5/5: the restaurant was new since 17 April 2022. Pricing/Value: 3/5 It’s so competitive in Japanese food area in Causeway Bay. They may need to stand out more with some characters
I will first start by saying I’m from the states and was vacationing in HK when I found this gem. This was the best meal I had while in HK when I factor in the whole dinning experience. This meal is omakase it will be on the pricer side. But everyone knows that going into it, it is what it is. All the sushi was amazing. The sushi chief’s attention to detail was something special to watch. The service we received while dining there is what I will always remember. HK food service is typically not known to be the friendliest. This was the complete opposite. Jessie, the owner, was so kind to us. This was by far the best service I’ve EVER received dinning anywhere in the world. I would recommend Homakqse to anyone who is looking for the perfect dinning experience. Hoping to be back sometime in the near future. Wishing you guys much success.
This little gem is an absolute treasure! It offers a unique variety of sushi and sashimi, not the kinds you would usually see. A smart way of preparation has made it so delicious yet enjoyable! Great ambience, friendly chefs, and the owner make it a marvellous spot to chill and a lovely place for drinks . We were surprised by their amazing birthday celebration tower with loads of yummy mini desserts! It was very touchy!! We will definitely visit again next time when we are in town.
A delightful dinner experience! Thanks to Chef Ah Hai and Jessie for making the experience so memorable. Definitely will return again!
Took my dear friend for her bday lunch and really enjoyed the food and experience. Sat at the bar counter and we both had the 10pcs premium sushi set, they do have uni, fish roe, and sweet shrimp but i opted out for my own preference and they would cater accordingly. Great value and the art plate was customised for my friend at the end by request! Will def go back again and highly recommend.
